Urgent reports — hidden at once

Images that involve a minor, intimate or sexual images of a real person, and deepfakes or other non-consensual use of a real person’s likeness are urgent. When an urgent report names the recipe and includes your email, your typed full name (your electronic signature) and the good-faith statement, the recipe is hidden immediately while we review it. We review urgent reports within 24 hours (the legal maximum for intimate-image removal is 48 hours). If the report turns out to be unfounded, the recipe is restored.

Urgent reports without these details are still reviewed with priority, but the recipe stays visible until we have checked it.

Copyright

A copyright notice must identify your original work (a link or description), the recipe, your email, include your typed full name, and state in good faith that the use is not authorized and that the notice is accurate and you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them. Copyright reports are not hidden automatically; we review them within 24 hours.

Other reports

Offensive content, wrong information and anything else are reviewed within 7 days. Recipes are not hidden automatically for these reports.

Abuse limits

Each report gets a ticket number. Repeated reports about the same recipe and reason are merged into the open ticket. One connection can send at most 3 reports per 24 hours, and at most 5 recipes per 24 hours are hidden automatically site-wide; beyond that, urgent reports are reviewed by a person first.
